BabyHavyn

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 08/24/2026

TMK Labs LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates BabyHavyn (the "App"), a private tool that helps families coordinate visits, meals, and help requests around a newborn. Access is by invitation from a household's parent, or by redeeming a gift someone has bought for you. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the App, or by buying a gift through it, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information We Collect

When you use the App, we collect:

We do not collect government ID, and we do not track your location. We do not receive or store your full payment card details — see Payments and Gifts.

A home address, if a parent chooses to add one, is the one piece of precise location information the App holds. It is typed in deliberately by a parent for a specific purpose; it is never read from your device, and the App does not use it to determine where you are.

If you apply to the beta program

Applying to the beta program is entirely voluntary, and separate from using the App. If you submit the beta interest form, we also collect:

We use this information to choose a beta group covering a range of situations, and to inform decisions about product functionality, marketing, and pricing. It is not used for advertising, and it is not sold or shared.

Payments and gifts

Access to the App can be bought for a household, or bought as a gift for someone else. When a purchase is made:

We keep a record of each period of paid access — when it started, when it ends, and what paid for it. Where a gift is bought for someone who does not need it yet, that record simply notes that a gift is being held for them.

If someone buys a gift for you, the only thing we hold about you before you redeem it is the name they gave us — we have no way to contact you until you redeem the gift and give us your own details. When you do, you will see the purchaser's name and any message they wrote for you; they are told nothing about your household in return.

Purchase records are financial records. Unlike most information in the App, they are kept after a household is deleted — see Data Retention and Deletion.

How We Use Your Information

Who Can See Your Information

The App is built around households — small, invite-only groups. Information you provide is visible to other active members of the same household: for example, your name is visible to that household's parents and visitors, and visit details you submit are visible to that household's parents.

Address, gate code, and entry instructions are visible to every active member of that household — all of its visitors, not only its parents, and regardless of whether a visit has been scheduled or approved. This is deliberate: the information exists so someone can find the door and get through it. A parent should treat adding it as sharing it with everyone currently on their visitor list, and can remove it at any time. Removing someone from a household removes their access to it.

If a visitor taps the address to get directions, their own device opens Google Maps with that address in the link. We do not send your address to Google ourselves, and no other information travels with it.

We do not sell or share your phone number, your address, or any other information you provide, with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We do share limited information with the service providers that make the App work — for example, our SMS provider (Twilio) receives your phone number solely to deliver verification codes, our email provider (Resend) receives your email address solely to deliver verification and notification emails, our payment processor receives what it needs to take a payment, and our hosting and database providers store the App's data securely on our behalf. These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us, not for their own purposes.

SMS Messages

By entering your phone number to request a verification code, you agree to receive a one-time text message containing that code. Message frequency depends on how often you sign in or verify a new phone number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of receiving messages, or HELP for assistance.

We only ever text a phone number that has been entered into the App by the person it belongs to. We do not text a number someone else has given us — which is why a gift purchaser is not asked for the recipient's phone number at all.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. Baby names and birth dates may be entered into the App by a parent or guardian for the purpose of coordinating care — this information is provided by an adult, not collected from a child.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account and household memberships are active.

If a household's access ends — because a trial or a paid period ran out — the household's information is not deleted. Members can still see what was already scheduled, and everything is restored if access is renewed. Nothing is erased simply because a period of access lapsed.

If a parent deletes a household, the household and everything scoped to it — babies, quiet hours, address and access details, visits, meals, help requests, and invitations — are permanently removed. Two things deliberately outlive it: a short record that the deletion happened, and records of any payments or gifts associated with it. Those are financial and security records, and they no longer contain the household's own content.

If a gift is never redeemed, the only personal information attached to it is the purchaser's contact details and the recipient's name. The purchase itself is a financial record and is kept; the recipient's name is removed on request at any time, by either of you.

If you'd like your information deleted, contact us at info@tmklabs.com and we will remove it, except where we're required to keep records for security, financial, or legal reasons.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including phone number verification, encrypted data storage, and access limited to active members of your own household. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Because a household's address and access details are the most sensitive information the App holds, it is worth being explicit: they are protected by the same controls as everything else in your household, and by the fact that household membership is invitation-only. They are not given special additional protection beyond that, which is why we recommend removing a gate code from the App when it changes, and reviewing your visitor list from time to time.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
